Battlefront 2 solved this issue, why can't they implement something similar? In Battlefront 2 your party size could be much larger than 4 but it would you split you into squads of 4.

You could even manage those parties before going queuing into a match. The empty spaces could be filled by randoms ie you have 6 people in a party and you split them 2 squads of 3 and when the match starts each of your squads would get a solo.
