The workaround I found is to have party/squad A join a match. Then a member from party/Squad A leaves the party and squad once in game and creates party/squad B and invites the remaining friends not in the game to the game or have them join on the creator of party/squad B. If you do this as the match starts and before it fills up you can be on the same team and in the same game.
