My thoughts on what is wrong with this game and why it has lost players

I've been playing BF since they introduced the demo map for 1942. I loved 1942 and it's expansion maps, including the free community maps, the free addons for more realistic sounds. I loved BF Vietnam and ESPECIALLY Operation Flaming Dart which had it all. And the aircraft were easy to master, and I was very good at them. Then there was BF 2. It was OK but the idiots didn't make it compatible with Windows 7. I bought BF 3 but I didn't play it much. It just didn't appeal to me. I should have given it more of a chance. I skipped BF 4 Bad Company. I came back to BF 1 and loved it. I loved BF 5. I hated the early BF 2042 but stuck with it and complained and lobbied hard for a return to BF roots. And EA eventually listened and made it better. I swore I would never agaain preorder another BF game, but EA made an all to brief beta test of BF 6 for only 2 weekends and I though I liked it so I did the preorder of the delux package. Since then I play way too much. The game is way too fast and you die (at least I do) way too often. The Battle Pass and Challenges system were difficult to understand at first, but I finnally figured it out and completed enough of them to finish all the tiers, and optional tiers and almost finish the Frostbite bonus path. I dislike playing and I am not good at playing anything on Redsec. But even though those matches are optional and force you to play freeloaders who do nothing but play those maps and those objectives, you have to, to complete some Challenges. I know it's kind of wimpy, but I find myself playing Casual Breakthrough most of the time to level up weqpons and complete daily and weekly challeges as much as possible.

It may have something to do with I'm 71 years old. But there is just too much coming at you all the time. Always getting shot from the blind side or by a tank that's right there but I didn't see or drove up from out of nowhere. And armoured vehicles are not quiet vehicles, but I don't hear it. And I use a tippity top system that I built myself with an LG Ultragear 42" monitor, great surround speakers or headphones. So I think it's the map design for one thing with all the cover leaving you so much exposed from different angles. There is also very little team play since EA has not had VOIP right since BF 5. They tried to eliminate it completely in 2042 but we lobbied to get it back. But it never was right. And of course they made it almost impossible for clans to play on the public servers and I think that pissed off alot of them. When was the last time you saw AOD as a prefix in a server? They've probably gone to COD. That's it for now.
