Battlefield 6 Permanent Ban – Contact EA's Terms of Service Team

Hello EA Community Managers and Support Team,

I'm posting here because I've exhausted the support options available to me and genuinely don't know where else to turn.

On 19 October 2026, I received a permanent Battlefield 6 ban for alleged "Gameplay enhancement", an accusation I strongly dispute.

I purchased Battlefield 6 through Steam in October 2025. At launch, I experienced severe connection problems that made the game practically unplayable. I eventually stopped playing and even upgraded my internet connection, believing that might have been the problem.

In October 2026, I decided to return to the game. I reinstalled it, launched it to complete shader compilation, and then closed it.

When I returned later that day to play with my friends, I discovered that I had been permanently banned.

I have not knowingly used cheats, exploits or unauthorised software intended to provide an unfair advantage.

My Steam account records only 4 hours and 52 minutes of playtime, much of which was spent experiencing technical difficulties, troubleshooting and navigating menus.

My EA Penalty History shows this as my only recorded violation. I also play other games using anti-cheat technology on the same computer, with the same hardware and background software, without experiencing similar penalties.

I understand these circumstances do not conclusively disprove the allegation, but I believe they justify a thorough investigation.

The problem with my appeal

I submitted my appeal on 19 October 2026, and it remains pending.

I have since gathered additional evidence, but EA's Penalty History tool does not allow me to add anything to my existing appeal.

I cannot submit a second appeal while the original remains pending, and I do not want to cancel it and risk losing my existing review.

I have also spoken with an EA adviser, who directed me back to the same appeals process.

When I subsequently attempted to resume my support conversation, EA's website displayed:

"This issue isn't supported by advisors."

I've effectively been left without a working way to submit evidence or obtain a meaningful update.

What I'm asking EA to help me resolve

I understand that Community Managers cannot personally overturn account bans. However, I would be extremely grateful if someone could help me establish contact with the appropriate team.

I specifically need to know:

  • Is there a direct email address or another official way to contact the Terms of Service team about an existing appeal?
  • How can I submit additional evidence without cancelling my pending case?
  • Can someone confirm whether my appeal is actively being reviewed?
  • Can EA investigate my gameplay and session records, which I cannot access because of the ban?
  • If the ban is found to have been issued incorrectly, what options are available for compensation, a refund or another goodwill resolution?

I have already attempted to obtain a refund from Steam, but my requests have been declined because the purchase falls outside their standard refund period.

I am therefore left unable to use a game I purchased, unable to retrieve my gameplay records, and unable to submit further evidence through EA's support system.

I am not asking anyone here to bypass the appeals process. I am asking for a way to make that process work.

If an EA representative needs my existing case number, correspondence or supporting evidence, I am happy to provide those details privately through an official channel.

I would genuinely appreciate a response from an EA Community Manager explaining what practical options remain available to me.

Thank you for reading.

I'm very sorry to say, there's nothing else I can do here. You'll need to wait for the appeal to be reviewed.

  • Hi EA_Aljo,

    Thank you for responding.

I appreciate that Community Managers cannot personally overturn bans. However, the issue I'm trying to explain is that I cannot submit another dispute through EA's system.

My original Battlefield 6 appeal was submitted on 19 October 2026 and remains marked as pending.

When I visit Penalty History, there is no option to submit another appeal or add further evidence. The only option available is to close my existing case, which I am reluctant to do because I don't want to risk losing my pending review.

I have since gathered additional information that wasn't included in my original appeal, including screenshots of my limited Steam playtime, my penalty history, and details about my computer setup.

I've also attempted to contact EA Support directly. An adviser redirected me to the same appeals page, and attempting to resume that support conversation resulted in the message "This issue isn't supported by advisors".

This leaves me with no apparent way to provide additional evidence or contact the team reviewing my case.

Could you please clarify three things?

    1. How am I supposed to submit another dispute when my existing appeal is still pending?
    2. Is there any official way to add additional evidence to an appeal that has already been submitted?
    3. If neither is possible, is there a way to contact the relevant support team about this issue without cancelling my existing appeal?

I understand you cannot personally overturn the ban. I'm simply asking for assistance with a support process that currently provides me no way to progress my case or submit further information.

I would genuinely appreciate a practical answer, as being repeatedly redirected to the same appeals page is not resolving the problem.

    Thank you.

Hi there. Unfortunately, there is very little we can do over the EA Forums when it comes to bans. The best I can advise is to submit another dispute so that ToS can investigate the ban to see if it can be overturned. Instructions for that can be found in this article regarding bans and suspensions. Thanks!
