Proposal for the Return of a Clan System in Battlefield 6
Hello to the entire DICE and EA team, I am writing on behalf of many passionate Battlefield fans to propose the return of a modern and fully featured clan (or platoon) system in Battlefield 6. Previous installments (notably Battlefield 3, 4, and 1) introduced platoons that allowed players to create, join, and proudly represent their teams. This feature played a central role in the community life of the game by offering: A strong team identity through visible tags, emblems, and profiles. An organized structure with hierarchical roles, shared statistics, and internal management tools. Easier group play and coordination on the same servers or squads. A natural competitive dynamic between clans through rankings and collective motivation. Today, as Battlefield 6 emphasizes cooperation, strategy, and personalization, the absence of a consistent clan system is being felt. Many players want to bring their communities together, build strong identities, and organize internal or competitive events — all of which would help extend the game’s lifespan. We therefore propose the implementation of a modernized clan/platoon system featuring: A dedicated interface to create and manage a clan (in-game or via the companion app). Hierarchical roles: leader, officers, members. A visible emblem and tag in the game (on uniforms, vehicles, and scoreboards). Detailed clan statistics (wins, ratios, levels, collective achievements). The ability to organize clan matches (private or competitive). Integration into matchmaking to group members in the same squad. Regular clan rewards or challenges (weekly or seasonal). Such a system would strengthen player engagement, encourage teamwork, and build long-term community loyalty within Battlefield. Thank you for your time and your ongoing commitment to the series. We sincerely hope that the return of clans will be considered for future updates of Battlefield 6. Respectfully, xlkee1.1KViews24likes5CommentsDo something about these cheaters!!!
Do something about these cheaters! Mainly pc..... sad part is we're forced to play redsec with pc because if we turn off crossplay we have to wait nearly 40 minutes just to get a match! Make a consoles only option for crossplay maybe it'll cut the wait time in half this pc BS is out of hand they already have the upper hand tremendously over consoles but complain about the weak aim assist consoles have and then got the nerves to cheat... ban these cheaters man! Yall need to develop the javelin 3000 because the one we have aint catching them! They dont want to play with us and we dont want to play with them! So stop forcing us all to do something we dont want to do!32Views0likes0CommentsDisappointed by Battlefield 6’s Lack of Linux Support
To whom it may concern, I was genuinely excited about Battlefield 6. The trailers, the gameplay previews—all of it looked amazing. But that excitement was instantly deflated when I realized there’s no support for Linux at all! I’m running Ubuntu LTS and have absolutely no interest in switching back to Windows just to play EA games. It’s frustrating, to say the least, that in 2025 we’re still dealing with such narrow platform support. Linux users are no longer a fringe group—we’re passionate, loyal, and growing. Ignoring us feels like a slap in the face. I won’t be buying Battlefield 6 unless Linux support is taken seriously. Simple as that. Please rethink this decision—not just for me, but for the entire Linux community. Regards, A very disappointed gamer17KViews127likes120CommentsWeekly Class Debrief - Assault

Welcome everyone to the Weekly Class Debrief. You know the drill! Each week we will be rotating through each player class to discuss everything from Balancing, best equipment/weapons to use, tips and more, YOU drive the discussion. This week we're coming back round to talk about the Support class. Last week we had some excellent discussion on Engineers with some excellent points being made surrounding balance, particularly on the number of Rockets the class receives compared to previous games. On top of that we had some good feedback raised about how situationally the SMG tends to be more accurate than LMG's at range and how that doesn't quite feel right. Appreciate you folks adding your points to the discussion and we'll get that feedback sent on! This week we return to discussing the Support class, how does it feel right now, what would you change about the class if you could. What works right now and what doesn't quite hit the mark? This discussion will stay up and running for the next week before we roll into our next discussion on another Class, the class up for discussion next week will be Assault671Views8likes31CommentsFalsely Permabanned for "Gameplay Enhancement" - Ignored by Support
Hello Battlefield Community and EA/DICE Community Managers, I am writing this post out of sheer desperation and profound disappointment. I have always been a dedicated Battlefield player, but my recent experience with Battlefield 6’s automated anti-cheat system and the abysmal state of EA Customer Support has left me completely speechless. On February 27th, I tried to log into Battlefield 6, only to be hit with a permanent ban notification. The reason provided? "Gameplay enhancement." ### I Don't Even Know What "Gameplay Enhancement" Means The email vaguely stated that I used "unauthorized methods to enhance in-game performance." I want to state clearly and categorically on this public forum: I have never used hacks, cheats, aimbots, wallhacks, macros, or any modified game files in my entire life. I don't even know how to initiate a hack, nor do I have any interest in doing so. I play Battlefield 6 to unwind, have fun, and play the objective with my squad. I am a completely vanilla player. I don't use any third-party software that interacts with the game. The fact that a completely clean player can be slapped with a permanent ban for an incredibly vague reason like "Gameplay enhancement" without any proof or context is terrifying for the legitimate player base. The "Mass Report" Flaw Since I know with 100% certainty that my PC is clean of any cheats, the only logical explanation I can think of is that I was the victim of a mass-reporting exploit. We all know how toxic in-game chat can get, and it seems entirely plausible that a salty squad or an opposing team decided to spam the report button on me after a good match. If your automated system is just counting reports and instantly issuing permanent bans without a human actually reviewing the gameplay data, then your system is fundamentally broken and is punishing your most loyal players. My Investment Ignored What hurts the most is the sheer lack of logic behind this ban. Why would I jeopardize my main account? I purchased the game with my hard-earned money. I have grinded through and completely finished the Season 1 and Season 2 Battlepasses. I have invested countless hours into unlocking weapons, attachments, and cosmetics. Does it make any sense for a player who has invested this much time, money, and effort into their main progression account to suddenly download a "gameplay enhancement" tool? No real cheater grinds two full seasons of a battlepass on their main account. They use burner accounts. EA Support: A Black Hole To make matters worse, the appeal process has been an absolute nightmare. I immediately submitted an appeal to the Terms of Service team, explaining my situation, offering to send DXDiag logs, and begging for a manual review. The result? Absolute silence and generic, automated walls. It feels like I am screaming into a void. Customer support has not answered my questions, they have not provided any evidence, and they have not done a single thing to actually investigate my case. They just hide behind automated "Terms of Service" replies. This is a horrible way to treat paying customers. A Plea for Help I am highly disappointed with DICE and EA right now. I just want to play the game I paid for. I am asking—no, I am begging—for a real human being, a Community Manager, or a dev reading this forum to please look into this false positive. Please don't let automated systems and unresponsive support tickets ruin the experience for legitimate fans of the franchise. I am willing to cooperate in any way possible to prove my innocence. Has anyone else experienced this exact issue recently? How did you get a real human to actually look at your account metrics? Thank you for reading this long post. I just want my account back.1.1KViews5likes42CommentsSummary of the Main Reasons for the Poor Gameplay Experience in Battlefield 6
Everyone complains about the overly short TTK, high gameplay pressure, and poor replayability, ultimately attributing all the problems solely to weapon TTK values. But I want to point out that if this were only a simple matter of adjusting TTK numbers, it would easily be the smallest and easiest issue to fix in the new Battlefield installment. In reality, the bad experience stems not just from short TTK alone, but from a toxic combination of multiple flawed design choices. Stung by negative feedback over Battlefield 2042’s overly vast open maps and lack of cover, DICE has drastically overcorrected its design philosophy for this entry. The core problem is that these seemingly massive maps are actually carved up and pieced together by excessive dense cover into countless small Team Deathmatch-style zones. No matter where players go on the map, they are essentially just fighting close-quarters deathmatch in a different arena. The signature features of classic Battlefield—large-scale battlefield depth, tactical flanking, and lane firefighting room—have been completely eliminated. To make matters worse, cluttered tactical gadgets, along with overused explosion and smoke effects, turn the entire battlefield into total chaos. Sightlines are heavily obstructed, spawns and enemy encounters feel completely random, further cutting down player reaction time. The already mismatched short TTK, which fits terribly with this compact deathmatch-style map layout, is exacerbated by the chaotic environment. The result is severe imbalance: extremely low fault tolerance, instant deaths around every corner, and being downed the moment you peek out of cover, leading to an awful gameplay experience. An important point to avoid pointless arguments: looking purely at raw stats, neither the actual map size nor the official TTK values are particularly extreme or noticeably shorter compared to previous Battlefield titles. The reason the gameplay feels broken and awkward is not due to any single stat being off the charts. It is the cumulative effect of multiple flawed designs: maps segmented into deathmatch zones, overcrowded cover, chaotic visual effects, and a fundamental mismatch between TTK mechanics and battlefield pacing. We cannot deny the unbalanced gameplay feel just by citing isolated raw data. The most obvious and convincing proof of this flawed design logic is the broken vehicle experience. Modern Battlefield maps are frankensteined patchworks of disjointed small deathmatch areas, packed with overwhelming cover and fragmented zones. There are no smooth, open thoroughfares or proper depth for large-scale warfare at all. This makes controlling vehicles extremely clunky and restrictive, leaving them unable to play to their strengths. There are no clear paths for aggressive pushes; flanking routes are blocked by dense cover and clustered buildings; vehicles get swarmed by infantry in tight urban blocks; movement between segmented zones is constantly bottlenecked. Vehicles are supposed to be core tools for mobility, area suppression and tactical repositioning in large battlefields. Yet in these cobbled-together deathmatch maps, vehicles feel completely out of place, like redundant features forced into the game. Their handling logic, movement paths and combat rhythm are all severely disconnected from the map design, creating massive tonal dissonance. This further proves that the current maps are not genuine large-scale battlefield designs at all—they are just cheaply stitched-together TDM layouts that force infantry into close clustered combat. Vehicle navigation, mobility and combat space were never taken into consideration from the start, making the entire design nothing more than an awkward, disjointed patchwork. In conclusion, if DICE wants to make Battlefield fun again and restore the classic charm of its large-scale warfare identity, tweaking weapon damage and gun balance numbers is nothing but a superficial band-aid. It needs to rebuild the entire design system from the ground up: optimize map zone layout, properly regulate cover density, design reasonable engagement distances, limit overused gadget and visual effects, and achieve proper harmony between TTK and overall battlefield pacing. Only then can the fundamental mismatch in core design be fixed.Portal and code sharing hub (PvP/PvE)

Hi everyone, I’m noticing some recurring gameplay anomalies in Battlefield 6 that are making certain matches — especially in Domination — feel inconsistent and frustrating. I’m not referring to specific tools or systems (to respect forum rules), but to in‑game behaviors that don’t seem to match normal player performance, such as: extremely precise pre‑aim or pre‑fire without any sound cues reactions that appear perfectly timed even when changing rhythm or peeking unpredictably recoil control and tracking that remain unusually consistent in every situation hit‑registration and TTK that feel irregular during certain encounters These situations don’t happen in every match, but when they do, the gameplay experience becomes noticeably less enjoyable and competitive. I’m sharing this feedback constructively because I believe many players are experiencing similar issues, and it would be great if the team could investigate these anomalies, especially in fast‑paced modes like Domination where they are most evident. Thanks for your attention and for the ongoing work on improving the game.
