Can not report certain players

Please do not name names in the forums....it will be removed when an Admin sees it.

Sometimes you can't report a player in RedSec for various reason so I have read.  I have also heard that certain symbols in the name can cause the name to not be recognized creating a situation in which the server/AI whatever to ignore the request.

Im sure that there are other reasons and I await what others have to say.

I've never had that happen to me. Mind you I don't even bother reporting now seeing as no action is taken against them. Logged on this afternoon and first 2 games were dodgy. Second game of domination and top 2 players on opposing team went 15/0 and 11/1 within first couple of minutes. 

When I first started playing this I would get an email confirmation about my report and more often than not would receive a reply saying action had been taken against the player reported. Now though I get no confirmation about the report, if it was received or not. 

Yeah I use to get those confirmations too!!  Now I just report sometimes to make me feel good and that there is a fractional chance that it did some actual good.

How to report a player in BF6 after a match:

At the end of the round, return to the Main Menu.

1. Open EA Connect.

2. Go to Recently Met.

3. Select the player you want to report.

4. Click Report and choose the appropriate reason.

That's it! Your report has been submitted.

I have noticed that not all players your have recently met appear in the 'Recently Met' list!!

That means they were bots. All real human players you’ve recently played with show up in the “Recently Met” list.

You can report via the scoreboard. Lock the scoreboard open and hover over their name then follow the on screen directions. 

Because they're cheating.  They enter a name that shouldn't be allowed, the system won't recognize it, and you can't report them.

because it's AI and they're tired of players reporting their software that they will not be getting rid of. ever.
