revive was cool when the game used to have firefights that actually ended at some point, to reward the winning squad of friends with a second chance, to keep pushing together as a team once the fight was over. Now, it has just became another way to gain popularity among noobs who buy on launch, play for the hype and the adrenaline rush on the first 3 months and then leave the game for the next. Revive has no place in a good military shooter unless its very well balanced. nowadays, its just another boost on the run n gun playstyle they are focusing on.
