I hear what you are saying. I dislike players running around as medics and not reviving. This has been an issue since BF came out. You'll occasionally get someone who is dedicated to it and will revive anyone. I think most of them play the class because they are solo and for self-healing with the supply crate. It's a game, and whoever spends their money on it should be able to play it how they see fit. I play with 2-3 buddies, so we cover all needs. We revive, resupply, communicate, and work together, and it's amazing. I had a blast playing over the weekend and stated "we're back boys!!" multiple times.
I think they did an amazing job with this game. Are there still things that need to work out? Of course, but I had many matches that felt like an accomplishment, whether we won or lost, and to me, that's what has been missing. 2042, no matter what you did, it felt lackluster. Like I didn't feel any sense of accomplishment or satisfaction. It passed time. BF6 so far is WAY better!!!
I also feel like the game modes, depending on which one you play, also tend to skew perspective. We play breakthrough 99% of the time.
