BF Mapack or standalone....

Hello , this post is aimed at a possible solution to a persistent thematic problem expressed in these forums. First I would point to a post that I read called "Not been very lucky lately!" . It was constructed by RISING ACE and commented on by WILD PODS . It sums up what I believe is the frustration displayed by the battlefield community that feels suckered by this release. This post is a suggestion that I hope other bf players will comment on or just hit plus one. Maybe if is large enough in the response the devs might actually take notice or maybe not. Here is hoping. Here is the basic outline:

 Standalone or add-on mappack:

  1. The obvious , epic sized maps , in the vein of BF1942 thru BF4 .
  2. ticket counts to match the size .
  3. vehicles that match the location (not just generic ones like in bf6)
  4. player count 64 to 128
  5. squads 4 to 8 players per , depending on map
  6. conquest , objective
  7. no leveling or xp..etc.
  8. locked classes , each class can choose the loadout that is unique to that class only. No cross weaponry.
  9. no sliding , bunny hoping , dolphin diving  or unlimited sprint.

The above would give back the framework of battlefield games that were based on teamwork and not the pursuit of a useless k/d ratio. Hopefully removing a lot of the incentive to cheat since there is no leveling.

One of the comments made in the aforementioned post was a download on the xbox 360 called bf1943. I had fairly forgotten about that , it was $15.00 and you got four or five maps . It was a simple pack that was a blast. I bring this up because a map pack does not always have to be about a grandiose , complex release simplicity sometimes works. You have three time frames in the battlefield universe , ww2 , vietnam and the present.

What is to say that you have add-on packs for those times or maybe a stand alone called something in the vein of "Battlefield reborn" or something of that nature. Using the game engine that is currently used what would those maps look and play like?

If you have read this far , thank you. We cant do anything about that game now . Maybe we can still get the devs to release something like the above.

**SAYING NOTHING , GETS YOU NOTHING**
