I use the hammer. And there currently is a bug that affects the chat box, you can't type in it, if you don't press "ENTER" before the round starts right after the loadscreen into the map ends. That is why there is barely anyone typing anything atm, it's a ghost town.
Battlefield 1 and V already were when the games went downhill, BF2, BF3 were the best ones, BF4 also still was fine, but not as good like BF3 IMO.
If they would make a BF2 Remaster right now it would reach crazy salenumbers. Why they not just simply do that, remaster BF2 only give it better overall graphics and textures and such and let everything else completely untouched gameplay wise, I mean really UNTOUCHED. Well of course some things would have to be modernized code wise, so it runs good on most recent hardware, but gameplay and control wise nothing should change at all. There would probably be a huge community in a very short time that would come back for this masterpiece. The game could need a few changes sure but they are superficial, the spotting radio chatter should be muteable and they could add blood effects, because good old BF2 didn't have any blood in it and that was annoying.
Edit: There is no need for a BF3 remaster because that game can still be played online against others, but BF2 is dead because Gamespy is dead. They should also bring back BF2142 and remaster it the same way. They could milk us nostalgia BF players so hard but don't realize it.
