BF6 kills the graphics card my PC

I have Ryzen 7 9800 X3D,  X870E Motherboard, RX 9070XT GPU, NVMe x2, 48GB RAM. I don't know what to do. The game kills the graphics card driver game crashing and freezing the monitor signal disappears, and the PC just sits there and doesn't respond to anything. I reinstalled the game itself, Windows, and the drivers, and after a few days, the PC itself started losing signal to the monitor when starting up outside of the game. After reinstalling the drivers, everything worked fine until I launched the game, and it all started again. Please help.

  • I had this issue at launch with 7900XTX.  I had to turn off Screen Space Ambient Occlusion (SSAO).

The moment i did no crashing suddenly.  I was told there was a bug in the games execution engine on SSAO that was not sending the right API commands.

I had this issue with a high overclock on my RTX video card. I also saw the issue on a Radeon card that was not even overclocked but undervolting it solved the issue

Hello! Did you end up solving this?! I have the exact issue, my specs are i7 265kf and Rtx 5080. Whenever I enter the game, I only press Alt tab or even try to change the graphics settings, both my screens losses signals then the audio disappear and PC completely freezes it seems. Keyboard doesn't respond, no Caps button light. Then the PC will auto restart on its own if I leave it like this for 5 minutes. This is a serious issue with the game. I have never had any game do this to my PC. No other game does this!

Update: I finally fixed it.  So I tried changing the settings in game and it always send the graphics card into no signal and then restart the PC. Especially I noticed that the screen is running at full screen 60hz in game in settings and I couldn't change it.

Setting the game screen to borederless window in the Nvidia app solved it. Now I can run at full Hz and can safely Alt tab with no bug.

  • It's like after all the reinstalls, all the games I play work perfectly, but immediately after the launch of BF6, absolutely everything breaks again.
