BF6 with Friends

Hello BF team,

I would like to bring up the gaming of people who like to play with a bunch of friends, or the many gaming communities going to  play this title in the future. 

In BFV and prior titles the server would not constantly dismantle after the round ended so that you stay with your friends in the same next game. However in 2042 this was not possible and the second squad had to join the other squad at matchmaking, often resulting in some players ending up in the queue. I am hoping that squad play, playing with friends, and community gaming is considered for this upcoming title. 

I am hoping for a seamless option, like an ingame party that allows for 12 or more players. At matchmaking the parties are pulled into the new server and create the squads. Maybe an option in the settings would allow us to define, if a full squad or equal squad size is preferred. 

I might be mistaken but I heard that Battlefront 2 had a system that would allow for this. Since it is also an EA game, I am hopeful this can make the upcoming game ready for playing with friends.

    Yes please to all of the above. 

    In 2042, it was so annoying to try to join my friends if they already had a 4-person squad started. To the point where I'd see them already together and just close the game. It wasn't worth the time of me waiting for them to get into a match, then try to join the queue and sit there for 5-10 minutes to maybe end up on their team.  At least eventually the devs added the ability to queue on friends after a match started (prior to that was a countdown and pray that you got into a match together).

    And as mentioned, keeping squads together between rounds instead of dropping everyone after every round to be forced to re-queue (unless you were playing in Portal...) was a terrible experience. It made having any form of a social experience and gaining friends from round to round virtually impossible.

    It would be great to have the ability to simply connect two different squads or something like that!

    Also... My gaming gang have all been together since BF1 Platoons... and some sort of group joining system is SOOOO needed otherwise this will be a massive rip again as we all yearn for the massive team plays that nothing else can provide. 🙏

    I agree, it sucks you cant play with more friends. Sucks that they changed to 4 player squads..

    Yes you should be able to join together but it should place you evenly on either team.
