Bringing Back the Soul of Battlefield: Clans, Emblems, and Server Browser

Dear DICE and EA Team,
I am writing this not just as a player, but as a long-time fan who has seen this franchise evolve. While the gameplay continues to innovate, we have lost the "social glue" that made Battlefield more than just another shooter: The Clan System (Platoons), Custom Emblems, and the Server Browser.
Here is why these features are vital for the future of the franchise:
Community and Identity: In previous titles, creating a Clan and a custom Emblem wasn't just about aesthetics; it was our identity. Seeing your clan tag and your custom logo on the side of a tank or a downed enemy’s shoulder created a sense of pride and belonging.
Healthy Rivalry: The clan system fueled a "healthy rivalry" that kept the servers alive. We knew our allies and our rivals. Without this, every match feels anonymous. Once the round ends, everyone disappears, and the connection is lost.
The Server Browser (Player Autonomy): Being forced into matchmaking removes the ability to build a "home" server. The Server Browser allowed communities to thrive, with specific map rotations and moderated environments where people actually talked and played together for years.
Retention: Currently, the game feels like "just another shooter" (just another game in the crowd). Without social structures like Platoons and a way to easily find our community, there is less reason for squads to stay dedicated in the long run.
We want Battlefield to be a place where we build legacies again, not just a place where we click "Play" and "Exit." Please, bring back the tools that allow us to organize, compete, and represent our teams.
Bring back the soul of the battlefield.
Best regards,
