[BUG] Battlefield 6 Beta – Black screen, peripherals turn off, PC stays on

Specs: SSD, CPU Ryzen 9 5900X, GPU NVIDIA RTX 5070 (3 fans), RAM 64 GB (2x32 GB), Motherboard ASUS B550M, PSU XPG 750W, Water cooling.

Issue: During the Battlefield 6 Beta, after a few minutes of gameplay (even in the menu), the monitor goes black, mouse and keyboard turn off, audio cuts out, but the PC stays powered on with RGB and fans still running. It becomes completely unresponsive and only recovers by manually turning off the PSU. This happens even with graphics set to low or medium, V-Sync on or off, different graphics APIs, and overlays disabled. Other games run on ultra without any issues.

What I’ve tried: Updated and reinstalled drivers (including using DDU), switched the game’s graphics API, disabled features like Ray Tracing and DLSS, reinstalled the game, tweaked BIOS settings, limited FPS, and tested temperatures and power (all normal).

Suspicion: Might be a beta bug affecting certain hardware combinations.

Anyone with the same setup experiencing this issue? Any temporary fix found?

I need to update, I've installed latest drivers, tried to disable pbo/core boost like mentionned, reinstalling the game, reinstalling the drivers, and it still happens, I've tried to lower the gpu maximum power, tried to repair the game, nothing seems to work, but as a software engineer I've tried to narrow it down, by examining the logs, and weirdly enough everytime there is a blackscreen crash it seems like the NVIDIA App is encountering an issue, I invite everyone who is experiencing the issue to do the following :

    1) Windows + r
    2) perfmon /rel
    3) Enter
    4) look for the error symbol and what app caused it. For me it seems like the NVIDIA overlay is causing issues.

Also forgot to mention but this happen on battlefield 2042 as well, so maybe it's not exactly a battlefield issue per say, but maybe it is because it doesn't happen on any other game as far as I know.

I've installed it but I don't think this is the cause, I think now that this is the NVIDIA Overlay that's causing the issue because I've disabled it last night and got zero crash on battlefield 2042. The crash is the same described in the post, you play the game, and suddenly regardless of what you are doing, your screen goes black, and the pc goes into a state wheree you can't do anything other than manually reset it to restart. It happened to me on Battlefield 6 Open Beta and on Battlefield 2042. The thing that makes me think it's an NVIDIA App issue, is that when looking at the logs of the system crash it's always preceeded my an NVIDIA App crash, specifically in the Overlay.exe and it did not happend to me before in 2042 so it must be recent.
