Forgot to mention this would be a great opportunity to make the guns feel more diverse. guns with higher caliber could shoot through more dense and therefore more surfaces and have less dmg debuff compared to a 9mm smg which shooting through the same surface would have a higher debuff but also can't shoot through as many surfaces because there would be a limit on how thick of a surface the lower caliber can make it trough.
