In all previous BF games, One surefire way of knowing if the in progress Conquest match I was joining was going to be a big L was if my team had a bunch of snipers and their spawn beacons sitting out on the edge of the maps miles from the nearest objective.
As someone that ran the Recon most matches, never sniped, and specifically for the beacon, w Carbines or shotguns, in BF4, I can feel your pain.
That said, in BF6 I think the Assault is better suited though I think the beacon should be their class gadget because 2 primary weapons is … meh and still most Assault players never seem to put down the beacon. Why??
Most of the player base in most BF games have/has never realized that the beacon is probably the most powerful gadget for PTFO. Can’t count the hundreds of times I’d be on my Engi bc nobody in squad is effectively dealing with enemy vehicles and have a Scout/Recon in squad that’s actually not camping on the edge of the map but also that never puts down a beacon until I call them on it.
