Can you add 16 vs 16 like in BC 2?

For instance, in Rush mode, there would be a Helicopter for the last objective for the defenders just like in Port Valdez.

Atacama Desert had 16 vs 16 conquest with helicopters and tanks...

    Cyborg_Reaper​ I completely agree with you. Rush was honestly at its best in Bad Company 2, BF3, and BF4.

    It’s a bit disappointing because in BF6, it really feels like Rush has been pushed aside and doesn’t get much attention anymore. Back then, it was one of the flagship modes of Battlefield. Now it feels more like a secondary mode that doesn’t receive the same level of care.

    There are also some clear balance issues between vehicles and infantry on certain maps, which doesn’t help the experience. And that’s not even mentioning the new Contaminated map not having Rush at all — which is a shame, because I genuinely think it could work really well for that mode.

    I also think going back to the previous player count, like 16 vs 16, would be a very good move. It made matches more readable, more tactical, and gave each player more impact.

    Rush still has a lot of potential, but right now I think part of the reason it’s less popular is simply because it lacks attention in terms of balancing and innovation.

    Cyborg_Reaper​ It's a good ask. The question isn't can it be done, but how well would it go over in the community? You may have a handful of players who want it, but would you then have more who do not? With games these days, a lot of dev teams ask a handful of questions about the game, and one of the top ones I see across the board is, " How would that fit into this game? 

    Not in terms of whether it belongs in the game, but whether it matches what this version of the game is about. For example, on Steam, there is a discussion about adding bayonets to the game. This is a modern war game, so would that fit?

    Not that the 16 vs 16 does not, but when feedback is sent over, they like detail and a - it fits this game because.....

    BC 2 was amazing. While I would love to see things from past games, there is also that expectation of does it fit into the modern game you are playing or would it be for more nostalgia purposes?

    QcR4ptor​ As long as I can remember, rush has always been a solid one with players. It has it's potential if enough players put in that feedback on it, it gets more eyes. Will it change is different, but with games like this, shifting focus is harder when it's what we want vs what isn't working in a technical sense.

    EA_Shepard​ I understand that shifting focus isn’t always easy, especially with technical constraints.

    Rush has always been my favorite mode in Battlefield, and that’s why I care about it so much.

    I don’t think it necessarily needs a full rework to feel better. Sometimes small targeted changes can make a big difference.

    For example:

    – Bringing back 16v16 playlists for certain maps

    – Adjusting vehicle count depending on the sector

    – Making sure all new maps support Rush (like Contaminated)

    These kinds of changes wouldn’t completely shift the game’s focus, but could significantly improve the experience and bring more players back to the mode.

    Rush has always been one of Battlefield’s most iconic modes, and I really think it deserves more consistent support.

    EA_Shepard​ I mean,  why not just introduce it. Going based on assumptions wont' show results if we actually test it out. 

    Added it, check for feedback and see if it really peeks interest in the players. 

    I find that most of the current maps are perfect for 16 vs 16. 

    Just like QcR4ptor​ mentioned, each player will have an impact on the type of class they're playing with. 

    The current Rush modes feel empty (infantry vs infantry). Adding some air vehicles will definitely make it more interesting.

    QcR4ptor​ That is what we want too. We want more of us out there playing, so it becomes a more enjoyable and manageable experience for the game. Rush is iconic mode to say the least.

    Cyborg_Reaper​ You're not wrong, though, and that has always been something I tell people. I understand the logistics, doing what I've done for so long, BUT, what if it was a smash and they love it and it takes off and more players play?

    Gotta think half full.
