Regarding your updated EA ID not appearing in-game, since you’re playing through Steam, the name displayed may be taken from your Steam profile name rather than your EA ID. Please check whether your old name is still set on your Steam profile and update it there if you don't mind. Afterward, restart Steam and the game to ensure the change syncs.
