Cheaters

I reported a player the other day. Their lowest accuracy percentage for their worst weapon was 60%. They were above level 100 at the time, this was a few weeks ago, and were just destroying everyone in the lobby. Had 130ms of ping. No ban.

I get that some of that could be from farming bots, but they were winning gunfights instantly and died only once during that match. Doing this while running around away from their team. 

Lost quite a bit of faith after that. The bar was low too. 

Here here....I report people all the time that are 100% not legit...I been playing this game since BF1942...don't tell me you can't tell who is hacking. One guy who has triple the kills as eveyone in the map and hes ON FOOT. Another one seems to ONLY get headshots in his sniper rifle...and ALWAYS on the first shot. Another guy killed me 7 times in less than 2 minutes at  4 different flags as I spawned...yep 100% legit...Oh and my favorite, sitting off a flag by about 100m and hiding in a building and out of the F***** BLUE someone walks in and stabs you in the back...come on DICE

whenever in-game reporting isn't available, you can also report users via EA Help:

Report cheating, harassment, and illegal content

We generally recommend using in-game reporting over using EA Help, because in-game reporting automatically grabs some of the information we need to investigate.

If you think Dice is going to get people for buying the game then cheating in it banned you are mistaken. consumer laws do not allow them to do that unless they refund the money you paid as well . EA will never do that so they just give suspension and this will be no grater then 72 hours . To ban you they need physical proof which their anti cheat does not give and is why they went after the ones who were streaming and showing they were cheating . Even EA doesn't know yet that these external cheats are not as hidden as it seems because they will give the player who is using it a false low ping . So if you see someone with a low ping under 20 there is a very good chance they are using an external cheat . There ping maybe a little higher if they are using 2 systems because of the latency between these 2 systems but all will be under 20 . if everyone in your lobby are all averaging  40's and there is one guy that is 9 don't you find that suspicious in it self there may be more then one I seen 3 in one lobby . I also check their accounts and are usually private or with a very high kd some over 16 and xp farming is not allowed and they banned them 3 updates ago and strip the KD from the ones who played in them but they still live in a fake world with their fake skill and EA believes it 

EA_Mio​ - Do you guys really look at the reports?  I would think that it would be a lot of work and would require a huge amount of staff to catch the true cheaters.

BTW, did you know that allowing one group of players benefits over others could also be considered cheating?  Aim Assist, low/no recoil, low bloom, pc internet adjustments, etc.  Those are all cheats.  

I hardly play this console port anymore.  It's just not any fun to always be at a disadvantage.  If you guys would remove the tracers from the guns, maybe I wouldn't see someone that blatantly gets the added benefits.  If you didn't allow aim bots (controller players) to blindly shoot through smoke with laser accuracy, maybe we'd feel a hair different.  Do you know how discouraging that is?....to see that you are having to play with one hand behind your back when you've got 2 good hands?  

May I make a suggestion?  Go to the higher ups and let them know how ticked off we are.  Suggest to them that instead of making a new skin, map, etc. that they fix what is broken.  

I figure I'll have played enough of this junk in the next couple of weeks to finally feel like I recouped some of the cost for this game.  Please do not take this as a threat but it will be the last game I buy that has Dice's name attached to it.  They have proven time and again that they don't have the ability to make a game that is not without some major flaws....flaws that they have no intention or ability to solve.

On a positive note, the game does look very nice, but I didn't pay for artwork.

Go to the head honcho's and tell them that people aren't happy.  I'm sure you can find data to support everything that most of these posts talk about.  BTW, don't listen to the controller players...they will only ask you for more stuff to give them an extra advantage.  Read the posts from the MNK players about the unfairness.  Please...and then do something about it.

well RIOT did more than any game company to ensure fair play within the game.  Got further than any company with LoL and went on ESPN for only one year before the smurfers unleashed and destroyed that games community.   EPIC has actually sued people in court,  and if they are kids actually sued their parents.   That also hasn't helped.    I've been saying for decades that the only way to really stop cheating is to really treat it like a real life sport.  This whole ideology that the internet is somehow this fairy tale land and seperate reality,  and the fact society has turned a blind eye to it and not taken it seriously for 30 years,  is why western civilization is now being destroyed by it.  The digital realm is just an extension of the physical realm,  they are one and the same,  and the same laws and principles must apply!  We must evovle. 

I would literally pay for the privilege to verify my identity like the gov't to play in ranked competitive matches, similar to community leagues in cs back in 2004.  Or two8 club tournaments.     The problem is that similar to western civlization,  we aren't able to segregate our population from all the trolls.  We are told it is immoral to ban someone "too good" for your server.   And the trolls have way too much ddos power that they can literally make you stop hosting a server by constantly lagging it out or taking it offline.  SO these game comopanies decided to introduce mmr,  but the problem is that because of thew anonymity,  now it literally makes manipulating the match even easier,  so it is not the answer.  

Again, to summarize, the only answer is verifying peoples identities like we would in real life.  id's,  phone numbers,  verifying snail mail addresses,   heck even facebook asks for birth certificates sometimes....lol

You do realize you can play with a controller on PC also right. I play on PC and console and have found at least for me PC has the big advantage.

Yep...I do realize you can.  And, I did for one game.  It was over-powered.  

I felt like it was cheating so I stopped using it.

I hate to say this, but I simply don't believe you brother lol.   It sounds so ridiculous i busted out laughing.  I don't mean to be rude lol.  I only like controller in sports games.   for fps games a controller is a major disadvantage for me,  and in the game I don't notice them being OP more than PC players,  at the top level,  or in general.  This is starting to feel like a troll post, i apologize if I'm wrong.
