With the new update, it was great for a couple of days.. a bunch of them got banned. BF Studios team actually tightened up the anti-cheat but the cheaters grew fast again. It was fun for a few days after the patch and now I stopped playing again because you can literally see in the game, you get 2 tap headshotted, they can see you immediately even where you are coming from etc etc.
They even admit it in the chat. I think a major problem is that they don't mercelessly enforce banning because they lose active users. If they did they would probably kill like 30% of people playing who cheat. This is not even a hyperbole.. they did research a few years ago, nearly 40% of people playing games like BF and COD cheat.
Currently almost every game I play has at least 3-4 cheaters on their team. One is enough to completely ruin the multiplayer experience, a few is a total disaster.
I wrote about this in other post, until they are mercelessly banning everyone to protect all of us who paid money to play the game legit and actually go legally against the cheaters themselves to make an example out of them nothing will change. And unless we see lawmakers make this a mandatory thing for games who charge a lot of money for the games nothing will really change and more and more people will simply stop playing multiplayer games.
That’s why they made RedSec free to play. They know it’s going to attract cheaters. But the cheaters will keep buying their skins for a few bucks bc they don’t have to actually rebuy the game. They need to enforce hard bans on IP, wifi addresses, etc. or they’ll just be right back in with a new account in less than a minute.
the game has been out long enough that the player base is established. There should be very few sub 20 levels in matches, but now everyone is a level 4 dropping 15+ kills in RedSec. New players aren’t doing that and everyone knows this
Red Sec sadly will be unplayable soon. I did a test we joined 20 games and died fast being agressive. I then spectated. 80 percent of everyone was cheating that we spectated for 20 games. It was clear alone by there gameplay. It was obvious and rage hacking most of time. Squads of 4 all cheating most of time . They need to do more. And most of all they need to start banning and make the cheaters fear doing it or all of us should spend our money elsewhere.
