what if there was an increasing XP Bonus for staying in a certain radius of the squad leader and a smaller bonus for being around squad members if you happen to branch off the leader to flank or what have you ... the bonus stops/resets if you leave the radius and go Rambo.
The bonus would have to be substantial though to try and get players to squad up and work together.
