Class system needs tweaking, especially Assault

Best Battlefield game since Battlefield 4 to me. This is a mix of 1 part Bad Company 2, 1 part Battlefield 3, and 2 parts Battlefield 4. After playing several hours of Battlefield 6, I re-downloaded Battlefield 4 just to see and remember... and yes Battlefield 6 has the DNA of Battlefield 4 in it. But the class system has been degraded a bit.

This game is good but there's lots of room for growth and improvement. If I had anything to critique, it's the class system. I find myself mostly playing Support or Engineer. Why? Because I feel like I'm actually DOING SOMETHING for the team. Assault just seems pointless to me as it stands in Battlefield 6. Their ability doesn't do anything to help the team UNLESS you are actively pushing for THE OBJECTIVE... not just running around for kills. They have an adrenaline injector that give them resistance to flash and reduce damage from explosions. They have enhanced mobility to move faster. A ladder etc. None of that helps the squad or the team unless you are actually trying to push for objectives and not playing TDM. At least Support obviously is the medic AND gives ammo (the problem), and the Engineer can deal with vehicles. Recon, if played correctly, can spot people. Problem is if people selfishly play that class for just sitting on hills not using their tool set or drones.

So, Support and Engineer most of the time is doing the major teamwork and Recon and Assault are doing the anti-team work. Recon COULD actually be an asset in the right hands... but Assault? That class needs to be tweaked. There should be something else that class offers. In Battlefield 4 Assault was the medic with med packs etc. and Support gave ammo to teammates, and they could use bipods. So, they both had a reason to do certain things FOR THE TEAM. Now Assault really doesn't have a real role and the Support class became the medic and the ammo provider, 2 classes in one. DICE should give part of that role back to the Assault class, so they have some responsibility to the squad and a reason to be chosen. Then there's the fact that everyone can revive... just much slower than the Support class. This is another controversial decision. These things just blur the lines of the class system.
