Compensation for wasted XP boosters please
Like many aspects of BF6, these couldn't have been more badly designed if they'd tried.
People, be aware: -
- They run in real time, not match time. All the time you spend in menus or if you leave the game is counted (and wasted).
- If they aren't active at the end of the round you miss the XP earned. You can completely waste a 15 minute boost, for example, if you start it and then play a 20 minute round.
Point 2 is the worst and I really think DICE need to re-issue all the 15 minute ones on the assumption many will have been completely useless and the player will have acted in a way they thought was fine, since XP appears to be awarded continuously throughout a match, but is not actually added to your account total until the end.
That the boosters count down in real time, but don't apply the boost in real time is the dumbest design ever.
