I would like to suggest a change to the crossplay system in Battlefield 6.
I think PlayStation 5 and Xbox players should be matched together by default, without having to enable crossplay. Then, if players choose to enable crossplay, they would also be matched with PC players.
The main reason is that mouse and keyboard are still a significant advantage over controllers, especially in a competitive FPS. Many console players don’t want to play against PC players because of this.
Right now, on PS5, it is extremely difficult to find matches with crossplay disabled. Sometimes I can’t even find games during weekends or after normal working hours, when player activity should be at its highest. I don’t know if matchmaking is also based on skill or score per minute, but the current situation makes it very frustrating to play.
As a result, instead of enjoying Battlefield, players either switch to another game or simply turn off their console.
