Ideally, I would like to be able to disable all female voice lines. However, it would still be a great improvement if I could set the gender for my character.

I was about to ask how to change my engineers gender back to male... I am getting pulled out of interest having to listen to an entire team of unenthusiastic female voices for the whole match. Women don't serve in frontline roles at a percentage to where I would hear NOTHING but female voices. This is it for Battlefield. It's 2042 with a reskin. This is their last chance.
Women in fact dont serve in frontline combat roles at all.
Sorry to burst your redpill bubble but the BAN (women wnat to serve men didnt want them to) on women in frontline combat was lifted and heavily filled by women in 2016 and onward.
I will not be purchasing this game if the voice lines issue isn’t addressed. Give us an option to turn it off. They are currently game breaking.
I listen to enough female voices at home. I don't want to hear female voices in games. It should at least be optional.

Completely agree. Make it optional to have female voices. This has nothing to do with "hate". Men want to protect woman and children, then the last thing you want to hear is females screaming in pain. I get it, modern times there are females in the army, and I support that. However they are not on the frontlines and they hardly make any of the % in any army, but at the same time in multiplayer it's 80% female screaming, and screaming nonstop. It's very unsetteling to hear, we don't want to hear females in pain., and it's immersion breaking. Let us choose our gender, and let us choose to disable female voicelines.
If you make it optional everyone is happy. The people who want it, the people who don't want it. You wanted it to be like bf3 and 4. Your trailer was full of men fighting to lure people in, and then you make this move in multiplayer..without options. It's just deceiving. Listen to the players. Options are always good. Just like I wish there was an option to turn off damage numbers on infantry but turn it on on vehicles(just like bf1). Options Dice, options! Please listen to feedback
I have gotten used to it since the days of BFV and my brain just filters it out, but I do remember that back then I was finding distressing to hear a female voice screaming in pain. I would say that many guys do not like to hear the sound of a lady suffering.
It is not something about disliking ladies for being ladies like some people might frame it. If anything it is the extreme opposite of dislike that makes one feel some distress due to the sound of a lady in painAs a bf1 veteran coming from an extremely immersive game with realistic voice lines this game is unplayable. PLEASE EA give us the option to turn off these annoying voice lines. You can even release it as a secret option hidden deep in the menus if you’re scared of the negative publicity from the wokies.

Im sorry but I never understood why guys ever use female characters? I want to use a male character as I represent that character. I dont think I've ever used a female character in any game.
Not saying women aren't ever in the front lines but they mainly aren't.
I guess im just used to seeing men only as infantry in movies and its not until recently women are having those roles.
For me it breaks the immersion I dont find women very appealing in action movies and not only that but they are just not naturally physically stronger than men, in my mind it just doesnt make sense.
I find it hilarious even in movies when a 5 foot 2 100 pound women beats up a 6 foot dude with ease and throws them all around lol

You are probably talking about the NATO female support. Who by her design, says everything we need to know about EA true intentions, and their commitment to money & pandering.

I agree. I don't know why we cant specifically choose out character and filter the voices. Women make up not even 5% of the forces on the front lines yet the most voices in game I hear are women's screams.
