To whom it may concern...

To answer your question- "why aren't more people making micro transactions?".

  1. You promise Battlefield in the beta, yet delivered CoD in the release.
  2. You promised large maps, yet failed to deliver any except an old med-large map.
  3. You promised bug fixes, yet we still have the same problems from day 1 (netcode).
  4. You promised a lot more maps, yet deliver only 1-2 every 4 months.
  5. You promised unlocks and skins, yet when we do buy them you don't actually deliver them (I'm still waiting after 5 months for the things I bought with cash).
  6. You promised new experiences, yet deliver nothing but quick modes that does nothing but divide the player base between servers, making more bots, less player experiences.
  7. You have dozens of KNOWN great maps in the inventory, yet give us open flat ground maps because they are quicker to make.
  8. You talked up Studio after Studio as legions of Devs pouring their heart and soul into the game, yet in 2026 we find you took them all away and just left a small team to do everything.
  9. You fired everyone worth a **bleep** in 2026.

You had 4 years to get it right and takes us back to a last known good BF4\ BF1 experience, yet all you delivered was a BF2042 re-skin. And you wonder why the player base has left - even the CoD players smelled the rat on this release - the game.

And with all of this you cannot understand why no one is micro transacting... truly you live in an ivory tower of wilful denial.

  • Couldn't agree more, those calling the shots are only interested in money & have no clue what makes battlefield the game it once was.

The cherry on the cake is the AI generated stickers we are forced to receive with our battlepasses or purchases.

The winter one had a soldier with a rifle that had two barrels and three arms. The sheer cheek and audacity to insult game developers by doing this is atrocious.

They're hypocritically saying on social media, "Oh! We've been listening to the Battlefield player community." If they had truly listened and made timely adjustments, things wouldn't have come to this.

A game developed by four studios, with only two maps released after a month-long delay to Season 2? I bet these people were either celebrating the game's phenomenal launch sales, leisurely sipping coffee, or enjoying a long vacation. This explains why EA is laying off staff—they deserve it. Think about the promises they made to players at the game's inception, and look at this mess now. It's laughable. In short, unless they actually take action to improve the game, I won't believe anything the official team says.
