The issue centers around the predominant use of female soldier voices as sound assets during battle. I suspect these are reused assets carried over from Battlefield V. Alexia's response does not speak to whether these assets will be removed or whether end users have the ability to choose/modify the types of sounds they prefer to hear during game play.

Understood your POV (thanks for taking the time & opp. to explain). But you're being charitable or naively short-sighted:
if you will, scroll through the nearly 300 posts on this thread and you will find that the real issue cuts deeper than just 'sound assets': plenty of men here are having a vocal paroxysm at women being so much as depicted in the game.

Why are you positioning this as a bad thing? The vast majority of the player base is male. While DICE continues to live in this fantasy world where diversity and inclusion is equally prevalent in all aspects of war, they continue to cut off their nose to spite their face. It’s the result of flawed company culture that has persisted for years.
