I agree with that. I don't feel "humiliated", but I like to associate myself with the character on the screen. When I play the game and my character screams in female voice, it kinda rubs me wrong. And no, I do not want to mute the voice. I want my character be male, with the male voice. It's not that hard to make. BF5 type of customization would've been perfect.
I don't know about BF5 customization. The only other BF I played was BF1. And character customization was inexistant. Or at least I couldn't find it.
But yea. If gender selection was a thing, it would be better. Just "feeling humiliated" by something so irrelevant is just pathetic.
