It’s not necessarily like every body should stay there indefinitely, ofcourse that would be ridiculous. But games like The Division 2 or even Destiny 2, the NPC’s that you kill lay there for quite a while, but it never really piles up or becomes cluttered. It’s fairly delicate, enough to leave a trace of what happened, for a short while, but not long after they disappear, just leaving a bloodstain.
I don’t know, I for one like it and don’t think it has to stressful for the game engine.
But obviously I realize this is just nice to talk about but realistically this is never going to be something they are willing to invest resources in to implement it.
