Cronus Zen

My frustration stems from the Battle Royale mode. I've been playing battle royale games for years, and I've never had opponents who, from a great distance, land every single shot I take, especially given the speed and frequency of the situations. This creates discomfort for me, and I think for many others, while playing. I know that many players use a device like the Cronus Zen. EA needs to address this issue, as it's not considered fair play and is akin to hacking the game.

I have no idea how common those devices are, but wanted to point out the game is currently setup in a way you don’t need any of that to land your shots at a considerable distance. I’m not saying no one around you is cheating, but Occam’s razor would suggest we should consider the lack of recoil and bloom as a culprit first.

Edit: also note the Javelin anti cheat software is said to catch Cronus Zen use specifically. Obviously I’m not sure how accurate the claims are, but a quick google search tells me it’s not zero either.

  • You only mention Cronus Zen but not all the 3rd party software that pc has like...

    Logitech G Hub

    Corsair

    Razor Synapse

Omg there is so many to list that does the exact same thing as CronusZen.

Hell I used Logitech G hub to create a 2hr long macro in WoW that I can push one button and do a 2hr long dungeon and watch TV as my macro did all the work using a Logitech G15 keyboard over 20 years ago.

.The only difference is pc allows this software. Consoles ban for Cronus Zen. Sony and Microsoft are enforcing it. But does your PC manufacturer enforce penalties for using cheating software? Hell no!

Your Pc nor does my Alienware, they do not ban you from games for using 3rd party software. Only the game developer's ban you.

Console players can be banned from the game developer's  and from their manufacturer  accounts. Something PC doesn't do.

I sent pvt messages to my 21 year old and dropped the f bomb and get a communication ban from Microsoft.

Does your pc give you a communication ban for sending a private message? Doubt it. Mine dont.

PC will always have more cheaters. Always have always will because its an open system.

Can you report cheaters to your pc manufacturer? Nope. They will just laugh at you.

Can console players report cheaters to their manufacturer? Yes they can. Youll even get a message back saying thanks for making gaming a safer place.

If your using 3rd party software to change key binds your hacking.

Any idiot can google what platform has more cheating...Spoiler alert..its PC.

Comparing Cronus Zen to Logitech G Hub is probably the most stupid thing I've read online this month. And that's saying a lot.

  • Let me reshare a few anti-cheat updates here. You’re also welcome to follow our official channels to stay up to date.

Cheating, regardless of the how, is prohibited and using known cheating hardware is no exception. The team is also working to enhance this with not only our own methods of detection, but through collaboration with our platform partners to ensure these devices do not impact our playerbases anywhere, regardless of platform.

Secure Boot isn’t a silver bullet to stop all cheating; but it is a barrier in of itself and enables other barriers. It helps enhance our detections to make each one just that extra bit harder for cheat developers. It can be circumvented, everything can, but sometimes even experts forget that those circumventions also light up lots of indicators; just getting around a barrier doesn’t mean we didn’t watch them the whole time as they dripped paint back to their nest for us to hammer drop their whole community.

Cheat developers never stop evolving, and neither will we. You can help us by reporting players you suspect are cheating.

  • a zen is never going away they have zero way to know if one is plugged in and they act like they do. over 2.8 million bf6 zens have been sold last year with 3.3 million more this year. console playing with pc players is the real problem. let all the console cheaters play together and let us real gamers have our own bf6
