Custom Search maps greyed out when searching Rush

Even if they don't promote it anymore on their website, it's still false advertising. They never advertised any of these modes as LTMs. Imagine buying a car and two weeks later the manufacturer releases a software patch that takes away the radio. This is literally what we have here, DICE advertised key product features and then removed them. I don't think I would have bought the game without Rush. Rush, by the way, is still the first mode front and center that DICE advertise with when you go to their official game mode site. So it's not just some side mode, but a core part of their product. In EU law you cannot just say "it's live service, things change" when the features removed wer part of the core advertising material. If they directly say "Conquest and Breakthrough are core modes, everything else is limited time and can vary" it's a different story.

Rush is the only mode I play and I really don’t want to play Tsuru reef over and over again. It’s honestly one of the worst maps I’ve ever played. Whilst the new BF6 is insanely beautiful and detailed, the way the game handles matchmaking is atrocious. Did DICE learn nothing from 2042?! The lack of persistent servers and the fact that you keep getting dumped into the same map over and over again is so annoying! If the full map rotation is not restored to Rush mode soon I’ll be deleting the game and I will never buy another BF game again. Stop making changes that no one asked for that actively make the game worse, and start implementing changes we do want (like persistent servers and proper server search). What you should have done was just release a remastered version of BF4, best version ever. Think I’ll just go back to that

So King of the Hill and Squad Deathmatch are gone for now? What about finishing the challenges for those modes?

I am extremely disappointed waking up to see the changes you made, I think I might be done with BF6.

I go to custom search, you can only pick one map for Rush, tsuru reef?  Rush is a classic mode for battlefield veterans , You removed two maps from domination, and then king of the hill  and sqaud deathmach is completely gone. 

I play these modes a lot since they are quick matches and really enjoy them. Now I lost complete interest.  

I can understand you want to put some modes forward in the menu but at least let people choose their game mode with custom search. I'm extremely unhappy that after taking away strike point, you now also take away koth. With domination these are the only 3 game modes I want to play. Let people play the game modes they like! As for match making, I never had the impression there was any effort put in making teams even anyway.

Just a cheap way manipulating season 4 map and game mode statistics by forcing players into certain maps/modes. We should ask for a refund because this is no longer the game we paid for a year ago.

The server browser won't fix anything when you don't let players decide what they want to play. You wouldn't have an issue with matchmaking if you just let players click on the mode they like and play that instead of mixed playlists nobody asked for.

If you put Breakthrough players in one playlist with Obliteration players, you have to expect half the BT players to leave when Obliteration comes. If you don't expect that outcome, you don't understand your playerbase. Mixed playlists are fine for something like TDM and Dom, it gives a nice little mix for similar experiences. But mixing completely different modes together is asking for disaster.

90% of your matchmaking issues could be fixed if you just made custom search and single mode playlists the default. Put all modes as single playlists in the multiplayer tab, so that players play that one mode and do not disband which causes long queue times and bot lobbies. It's honestly shocking you never even tried normal playlists, you immediately started with mixed playlists like Breakthrough & Rush even though both playerbases want different experiences. It's crazy how you created a massive problem that never existed before you fell in love with SBMM matchmaking.

I hear that some players are unhappy about not being able to play their preferred mode whenever they want with the current playlist rotation. I’ll pass this feedback along to the team.

Server Browser will enter Battlefield Labs testing ahead of its planned release in Season 5 as part of Phase 3, giving players an early opportunity to try the feature and help us refine the experience.

We are also exploring how the Server Browser can support a more persistent match flow, make it easier to remain with other players between rounds, and complement the existing matchmaking experience.

We will share a closer look at the Server Browser interface and the options available for finding servers as Battlefield Labs testing approaches. For now, here’s what we can share with you on our progress.

Server Browser will provide another way to find matches, but it is not intended to replace the work underway on matchmaking itself.
