No Mention of Strikepoint in Update 1.4.1.0

At this point, removing the game mode without restoring it feels intentional. It seems EA is actively neglecting the demographic that enjoys Strike Point. I agree with this sentiment and have recently gone back to playing older Call of Duty titles due to the complete lack of communication from EA and DICE.

I agree completely. I think they needed to axe game modes, and figured we would be the quietest tree to fall. I don't see the game mode ever coming back, and IF and when it does, the player count will be crippled by a ZERO communication, 2 month absence of the game. So after 959 hours, I've uninstalled the game. Back to assembling my pg zaku, and playing ghost recon in first person.

This is actually ridiculous, a month with one single update and that was weeks ago, if they’re going to abandon the game mode just tell us why leave the player base in the dark for over a month? 

Just give us an update, remove tactical obliteration and bring strikepoint back

I couldn’t agree more I refuse to buy anything battlefield till they fix the game and bring back strike point, I’ve also gone to cod recently. I hadn’t played it since bf6 came out but now I downloaded the cod back . They are progressively also ruining redsec the time it takes to die or kill is minimal feels like a hardcore version of it now. Wack af!!!

I think they should bring back Strike Point. Just revert the changes before the broken update until its fixed. I feel there should be more transparency from the Dev Team on this. Although, if it does come back here are some things I would like to see added:

• Ranked Play
• a vote to kick system on the team/group. (some people are/were AFK, toxic, or just annoying)
• User created maps using Portal and able to play with the SP community.

I been playing TDM and Squad TDM. It's just not the same. I feel like I'm starting to lose interest and basically refused to buy the Pass until this is resolved. With the last few COD's, I've turned away from that series in hope Battlefield would win me over again. It did, but y'all killed a game mode that was mostly enjoyable. 

I admire your outlook, a wish list and belief it will come back. 

I don't think they can bring it back. Two competing reasons. 
1. They don't have the playerbase for 10 game modes, portal, and no unified server browser. If there was a browser though, people would be able to tell how many ACTUAL players there were. 
2. (my personal theory) They outsourced their game's development, and once pre-orders hit their required X amount. They got rid of the extra coding teams. All of their code was either hastily or AI compiled into a unified project. This left them with a problem of spaghetti coding(technical bankruptcy), where seemingly innocuous changes, break something seemingly unrelated. Due to the team who made that code being on another contract, they're stuck rooting through a pile of spaghetti with a limited team. Then and IF they found the issue, they then have to figure out why it does what it does, and if they solve the sket issue, does it break another aspect of the game and how bad, then they have to chase that sket, and this can turn into a snake eating itself or infinite noodle chase scenario. SOOOO they have no choice but to just keep us in the dark and hunt noods.

Unfortunately, they chose their words VERY carefully. Looking to bring back strikepoint in A future season. So not the next, or this one. JUST A season lol.  So glad I uninstalled before they failed to give any update. Dueces EA

Our discord is at a loss without strike point. It was the mode the guys and I really enjoyed. At least 4-6 hours daily , EVERYDAY.  Our discord has had lackluster participation since they removed it. Either they’re not playing at all or they’re playing MW3  in a private server with bolt rifles only on SD. I don’t understand why we’re being ignored.  Shame on you. 

if they got rid of the other modes like king of the hill, squad deathmatch, rush, no way they are bringing this one back
