Defense Squad Orders Don't Give Score

Attack orders give points upon completion, but not defense orders. Successfully completing a defense order doesn't give you any score whatsoever. In previous Battlefield games successful defense squad orders would grant you points, which was a great way to incentivize defensive play. Is there any way we could get this added back into BF6?
