Drag to revive !

So, Who's idea was it to bind drag to revive & reload to the same key on console ?

The amount of times during a match I have tried to drag someone away to revive them only for the reload animation to start.

I know you just press the button again and drag them away, but does anyone else think this is bizarre ?
