This game has an intrusive, but ineffective anti-cheat. Cronus, soft-aimbot, walls, etc. are in almost every match at this point. As the playerbase drops, it will get even worse. Why doesn't EA stop this? Is it because cheaters buy skins?
Easily the Battlefield with the least cheaters.

no hes correct there are a crap ton of cheaters, and the thing is is EA isnt going to do anything about it, and the only time they reply honestly is when you target specific people or there team devs..........they dont care in the slightest. and itll cost them the game. idc ban me lol i seriously could care less im done with this game past this point id rather play COD...........if im going to get gouched by cheaters and power slides and all kinds of difff crap id rather have the ability to play on there same lvl. BF is done, the fact just hasent caught up to them yet

They never list how many accounts they ban just a vague reference to "instances" which is meaningless without more info. Then they mention matches that are "cheater" free. What is a match? There are hundreds and hundreds of portal games and I bet 100000% they count those. If they do that would make regular MP as high as 20-30% or more with a cheater in them. But they don't publish the necessary info to make any conclusion. They also hide the amount of cronus users they've banned. Millions of cheat devices on console, but we don't see tens of thousands of banned console accounts weekly, monthly ,etc?
Where are your credible resources to support your claim that this game has the least amount of cheating? That link? Seriously??
The earlier BFs with server browsers and human mods had far fewer cheaters. You'd see people banned instantly. It kept servers clean. But, that would be harder now with controllers having soft-aimbot and 1/3 or more of them using cronus/xim input. You could do it if they got rid of crossplay.
I completely agree with jmice on this. I have been playing battlefield since day one and have done my research, year after year, and watch streamers, and yes, the cheating is a huge problem! Streamers using config files and the works, live on stream. You know they are cheating and yet nothing is getting done about it. As the population of players continue to drop because of it, still nothing. I mean seriously what is it going to take?? Pretty soon it will be like COD, the only people that play that game are cheaters, cheater vs. cheater. I completely love the game and it would be nice to come home from work and sit down and relax but every server has the soft cheaters and the works. The unbalance rounds are a complete disaster as well. Please help us EA!!!!!!!!
Really? I report people I KNOW are cheating because of my years playing cod. And you guys always yell me they arent cheating. You drop new weapons into the game that claim to have the same amount of damage but can easily beat anyone. Dump a mag into someone and they turn around and 3 shot me. Or people using shotguns from 100+meters away and insta killing. People tossing frag grenades and they dont show up until they go off and the grenade insta kills. But when i throw a frag I get 20 damage. Okay ea. This is why your game is on my external hard drive now. Your anti cheat doesnt work. You made promises during launch that havent been done. You have tried to permanently ban me over text chat. Its2026 stop catering to the snowflakes of the world and look at the people who are actually playing. You tried to perma ban me for using the word "**bleep**" and "**bleep**" to describe the way my team was playing. Yet someone calls me a "**bleep**" or "**bleep**" and that's fine. People say nasty things in chat all the time and nothing happens. I report it and you guys tell me there was nothing wrong with what the player was doing.
Let me know when you are ready to actually Crack down on cheating and have fair gameplay and ill move bf6 back to my internal. If you cant do this and arent willing to do whats right then let me know in an email and ill get a refund for your game. Im very disappointed ea. You claimed to be better than activision and trey arch. But you are making the same mistakes. :/ i trusted you guys and pre ordered your game and have been loyal and playing since season 1. Ive put at least 147$ into your game for the pre-order and to buy season pass for season 2 and 3.
Hate to break it to you, but until EA hardware bans, the cheating will only continue. I just finished a match where at least 4 people on the other side were cheating (low player rank, laser accuracy, no thermal sights yet deleting anyone through smoke with the lowest powered SMG) and my personal favorite: private profiles so no one can see the absurdly inflated stats from hacking/using cronus. And all they do is laugh in the face of anyone that calls them out.
I've seen companies say they are doing things when there is hard evidence of them not doing a single thing. The fact the game is a mess and you have desync issues effecting matches, to people who do not know what these things are, they can appear as cheating. Also the fact I've seen blatant aim bots and other hacks in matches backs up what this guy is saying. I report everyone I see, or suspect. I've seen people running around with sniper rifles using them like shot guns and getting nothing but head shots. people with SMG's getting nothing but head shots at 200 meters plus, tanks instantly snap aiming at you. They are there and have been more prevolant since the free weekend.
You can also use vague terms and percent of matches as much as they want, if they don't give context, it's like in an advert where they say 90% agree, and in small text at the bottom you have a random number of people like 137 people, so they could get the numbers to that percent. 3% of a million matches is still 30K infected matches.
