EA and DICE just don’t care about PvE players at all.
A large number of people in the community including myself are people who just want to play casual games against bots to avoid the competitive nature of regular online matches. However, since the first couple days of the game releasing the devs have repeatedly failed those of us who simply want to enjoy the game on our own or with friends.
Firstly, there was the issue of severs being full which prevented me and many others from being able to play all together and for a good while DICE did nothing. After a while they finally took action but their “solution” was to completely ruin xp gain from bots which removes the ability of players like myself to rank up or use any higher level gear and (as of now) still has not even freed up server space.
This has led me to be so beyond frustrated as a solo mode against bots was a make or break for me and now I essentially cannot play the game. It is particularly frustrating when portal servers for each player and with full xp was advertised now only to have those things ripped away after the refund window goes away which feels extremely deceptive after having payed full price.
All I and many others ask for is a dedicated solo/co-op mode similar to that in 2042 with either full xp gain or at least some way for us to use all the gear others have access to so that we may play the game in a way that is enjoyable to us rather than having to put up with people camping under vehicles or being killed in half a second.
I have tried to be patient but I really am losing my faith in the dev team all together. I really enjoy playing this game and my only issue is that I literally cannot play the game I payed for and the team working on the game has failed to address our concerns or provide a good (and very uncomplicated) solution of adding a solo mode; maybe the devs could try listening to the feedback from players for once instead of adding updates no one wanted or asked for in the first place, such as the ticket reduction for conquest (although it has been reverted now).
Sorry for the rant, I just hope something can actually be done about this because I’m honestly just about ready to quit battlefield 6 entirely.
