EA Has Your Money Refund Policy

EA has a refund policy that basically says you can only refund if you bought from EA, not Steam, Epic or any other platform. For those, you have to rely on their refund policy, Both Steam and Epic have a 2 hour limit for refunds.

Here is what you get with EA. Yeah, not good for anyone that started platy at launch but may work in the case of a new user that came into this BF6 dumpster fire and self-inflicted gunshot wound of a game.

Within 24 hours after you first launch the game, within 14 days from the day you bought it, if you have not launched the game, or any time before the release date if you pre-ordered the game and haven't launched it yet.

Here is the, we borked your game and you cannot play anymore, policy.

If you buy a new EA game within the first 30 days of it release date and can't play it due to technical reasons within EA's control, you can request a refund within 72 hours after you first launch the game.

So after three days of ownership and if you played even once, NO SOUP FOR YOU! We have your money and there is nothing you can do about it.

I remember back in the day of Commodore 64, Electronic Arts was a premier game company. When Battlefield 1942 came out, it set the gaming industry on fire with folks hosting their own local server games and that continued for several iterations of the game afterward.

Oh how they have fallen and crapped all over what was a fairly loyal user base. Will never prepurchase another BF game again. Gonna wait until they finish **bleep** all over the initial users at launch and figure out if they will fix their broken, hot mess of a business model.

Sad times...
