You do realize a bunch of players are being thrown on EU servers because DICE closed the servers in their own region, right? I'm in the ME, I have to play with a ping of 60-70, and I definitely don't want to.
Also for your info, as someone playing with a ping of 60-70, I can assure you the game feels exactly the same on my side. I have hitreg issues, I get insta-killed, the whole shebang. I do not the details of how they implemented their netcode, but if there's lag compensation, the only result is to make the game feel like crap for everyone, not just the "good" pings.
Not a EU player problem, if servers in asia or in other regions get closed.
To hotfix or solve the problem with the method 'ok, lets throw asians or other players on EU servers because their servers are not existing anymore' is definitely the wrong strategy/tactics!
And yes, a player with a ping over 100+ IS a problem for players with pings between 5 & 30 (my current ping is 14).

First, you were accusing players, and now that you know your accusations were not entirely justified, you could have the good grace of walking them back.
Secondly, it is your problem. You literally come here to complain because it is your problem. Of course nobody is happy with those tactics, but let's be clear, DICE is not about to close access to people who bought the game and may very well still be bringing additional revenue. And DICE IS throwing players on EU servers, heck I don't have a say in that regard myself. I would need to use a VPN to NOT be on EU servers.
So if I may, the attitude of "it's not my problem, I don't care what happens to those people, just get them out of here" is probably not the most efficient method. Go like all the threads from the various regions complaining about their server closures. Support the calls for reinstating servers in the Middle East and Asia. Add your voice to the people asking for a solution that would actually improve things on your end.

it's literally been a day 1 problem, people were doing it way before server closures, The reality is, you should be complaining to EA, your fellow players shouldn't be the ones having there fun trashed, the same way you shouldn't. but the facts are, the high pings are screwing up people's fun, while you might be having a good time, others are not. The player numbers reflect that. 69K peak players on steam, and that's during a "free" play week. on a Saturday with a new event. The games far from dead, but it's not in a good place when the game had 747K players peak at launch. The game is as good as done, and it's not even a year old.

You're confusing people using VPNs versus people being thrown into a server far away by DICE itself. There are plenty of people with high ping who hate it.

People in those regions very much are. That's why I was advising to go like those threads to give them more weight.

My ping is 65-70, when it was 20-30 before we lost the ME server. You think I'm having a better time? You're just deluded. High-skill players, especially highly aggressive ones, may be able to abuse the quirks of high pings, I cannot. My KDR went from comfortably above 2 to struggling to maintain 0.80.
To put it bluntly, you're among the people complaining about other players who have paid for the game, lost a level of service and are forced to play in worst conditions, are not happy with the current situation, yet somehow you blame THEM.
I can't tell you what I think of you in this forum, but I'm very much thinking it.
