Expectations for the Future of Battlefield 6

  1. Enable vote-kick functionality to address hackers using cheat software, which ruins the gaming experience (absolutely detestable).
  2. EA servers should record the reason for kicking players. If the reason is cheating, after being kicked N times, the player must wait N minutes before rejoining (to annoy hackers while preventing abuse of the kick system).
  3. Strengthen game servers against DDoS attacks. This is a highly popular game, and we can’t rule out rival companies launching DDoS attacks out of jealousy.
  4. Revert vehicle controls to the style of Battlefield 3, 4, 1, and *5*—remove assists. Since vehicles are limited, they should be reserved for skilled players. Right now, everyone just camps the spawn screen waiting for vehicles instead of pushing objectives...
  5. This is a team-based game—the absence of "Specialist" roles in testing was great. Never add them in the future. We’re not "battlefield orphans" fighting alone.
  6. Consider high-damage servers—should a sniper rifle really leave an enemy at 10 HP with no consequence? (Or add bullet knockback—enemies stagger or fall back, tanks get flung? Just for fun!)
  7. Enhance destruction physics. You know players love chaos, and it boosts the game’s viral appeal. The core of Battlefield is fun and mayhem.
  8.

Wishing Battlefield 6 tremendous success!

Yeah the 1st and 2nd ones are solid options and would/could be resolved via private server hosting + rcon + plugins that keep track of players across multiple servers.

Regarding the assists for vehicles, I agree in some respects, but considering the widespread target for the game, I think that it's important that someone wanting to learn how to fly a chopper/jet doesn't immediately crash within 5 seconds, both for themselves and their teammates (granted, if you're like me, you spent hours in solo/bot matches to feel more comfortable before attempting to pilot in a match, but we all know that isn't probably the norm)

  • If we had servers like BF3 and 4/1 then it would work.

yes,But it's better for the official to establish a public mechanism to facilitate banning hacker players across the entire server. If server owners kick players on their own, there might be intentional motives—for example, when they are outmatched in skills (lol).

The problem with the kick option is that it will also be used to kick good players without cheating. If I have a great game with a tank, it is very likely that they will want to kick me and that is not acceptable.

The best option is to return the server rentals and let the administrators take care of this.

True, it is technically better for the official mechanism to do it. Although if you followed the BF2042 and other forums, there are very consistent servers with hackers that would get posted for day/weeks ruining the gameplay for people on the servers. If reporting hackers doesn't work fast enough, then it goes on and on. I agree there are badmins and it's an issue, but I'd rather deal with that and be able to have moderators/admins both in-server and able to manage via rcon tools if there's reports going on, then people just quitting games because someone is teleporting with godmode and headshotting everyone.

[Granted, I rarely ran into hackers/cheaters in 2042, or at least not obvious ones, but many others have videos of them posted, especially in the Oceana servers]
