Feedback after the Weekend

Now that the first Weekend is over, i have some Feedback to share...

Im playing on PC, Mouse and Keyboard.

Gameplay on PC feels...off. One big issue is, that we on PC can not disable Crossplay. The second problem is the Map Design. Most Maps are small, no open zones, no tactical positions. Both combined lead to a horrible experience. On every map we have "those" players. Running, Sliding, Jumping and spraying full auto. If i would want that kind of Gameplay, i would play "the other" Shooter.

So, please allow us PC Players to disable Crossplay too.

Weapon Balance isnt great either, again part of the fault is with the Map Design. Assault Rifles, SMGs, even Shotguns just dominate. LMG, DMR or Sniper often loose the Battle. Im not sure if it is the broken Netcode, but especially Assault Rifles and SMGs have a much too fast TTK. I often had situations where i spawned just to die again, without having the chance to even move or see whats going on. That includes Checkpoints.

Once we get some big maps, that issue could be resolved a bit. Until then? Firestorm it is.

Class Identity. Now this is a big one.
Due to open weapons by default, some classes are just useless.

Assault 
Good everywhere. Long Range, Close Range...you name it, they have it. The Ladder shouldnt be on this class though. When the Respawn Beacon was given to them, the Ladder should have moved to Recon. Most Assaults i have seen use it as a Stair blocker...

Engineer
Useless on most maps due to not having Gadgets. You dont need AV Gadgets when there are no Vehicles. Not only that, even on big maps they have a huge issue when it comes to Ammo. They have 3 Rockets, and then what? Yeah, no one deploys Ammo on the big maps, there are no stationary ammo crates, and the Repair Torch has no use either. 

I would like to see the Ammo Kit being moved to the Engineer, maybe even the Mortar. Support can keep the Pouch. That way this Class would have a use on small maps too by being the one who provides ammo, and it would be possible to hunt vehicles on large maps by having your own ammo kit.
Also: Add more interaction on those maps. Destroyable and repairable Objects, Ammo Crates, Defenses.

Support
Is decently balanced, but due to autoaim the deployable cover is often used as a stair-blocker instead. I have also no idea why this class has the Mortar...
The only issue i have is player-based. Due to how fast paced the maps are, no one wants to play the Medic and revive.

Recon
Usually my favourite to play, but not this time. Whats my role? Obviously its not the Sniper, even though thats literally the name of my specialisation. I dont have a Map to play as one. So...i can spot with my Drone? What for? There is no need for tactical planning since there are no big maps. I dont need to find a hidden Sniper, a hidden Engineer, hidden Mines since they are not used on most maps.

The Laser Designator is a useless tool as a starting one, since it mostly benefits Engineer, but only on the Targeting Weapons. Anti-Vehicle is unlocked waaay too late, so the Laser Designator has no use there. Anti-Air? That one works, but there are not enough Maps with decent air presence where a Stinger makes sense, not with the limited Ammo. The first shot is wasted anyway due to Countermeasure. So Laser Designator should negate Countermeasure like Flares or Thermal-Block.

Recon is also the Class which wants to "go up", so what happens? They grab a Helicopter and wreck it to get up on a Roof. Great. Give them the Ladder, or even better, a good Grappling Hook (not the 2142 one)
