Feedback on Character Customization & Cosmetic Options in Battlefield 6
As a long-time Battlefield fan who has played every title in the franchise, I'm really enjoying Battlefield 6. The return to the classic four-class system feels great, and the gameplay is solid. However, I'd like to offer some feedback on character customization that I think could help expand the player base and improve the experience for many current players.
Female Character Options Across All Classes
While I appreciate that the game includes female characters, I'd love to see more variety and options for female operators available across all four classes (Assault, Engineer, Support, and Recon). Having a broader selection would allow players to better represent themselves in-game and feel more connected to their chosen operator. Given that there's a significant female player base in Battlefield, expanding these options seems like a natural fit.
Expanded Weapon Cosmetics & Skin Options
I'd also like to see more diverse cosmetic options for weapons, including color varieties like pink camos and other vibrant options. While I understand Battlefield aims for a certain aesthetic tone, offering optional cosmetic choices wouldn't impact gameplay balance and would give players more ways to personalize their experience. Games like Call of Duty have shown that diverse cosmetic options can coexist with tactical gameplay.
Why This Matters
I believe these changes could help welcome more players—particularly women—into the Battlefield community. Representation and personalization options matter to people, and when players can see themselves reflected in the game and express their style, they're more likely to stick around and become part of the community. This isn't about changing Battlefield's core identity, but rather giving players more choice in how they present themselves.
I hope the development team will consider these suggestions for future updates. Thanks for continuing to support and improve Battlefield 6!
