MjrWalker I completely agree with you. The 2026 roadmap looks really great, and it clearly shows the studio is heading in the right direction.
That said, when it comes to skins, I’m a bit more mixed. I do think they’ve improved a lot since launch. At the beginning, they were much more flashy, but now it’s getting better — it’s clear they listened to the community. Still, I believe there should be even more realistic, military-style skins, or even new squads inspired by the classic classes from older Battlefield games.
For paid skins, I think it’s somewhat normal that some of them look better — that’s just basic marketing. But the key is finding the right balance. Having the option to buy items individually would be a great improvement in my opinion. It’s frustrating to have to buy a full bundle just for one item, and most of the time it just pushes people not to buy anything at all.
I also fully agree with you on AI.
Same for netcode and hit registration — I believe they are already aware of it and working on it, so it probably falls under general gameplay improvements.
Team balancing definitely needs more attention in certain modes, and the same goes for vehicles.
Narrative? Completely agree — we need more.
Music? Same — it could be much more immersive.
And to add to that, I think legacy content is key. But it’s also important to find the right balance between legacy content and new content, and I think the 2026 roadmap is a perfect example of that.
