Footstep sounds are still missing
Footstep sound is barely ever something you can even hear, because every other sound in the game drowns it out, regardless of the distance of that sound. Yet footstep sounds are important to gameplay...

Also having this issue, tried different settings in Windows and in game without success, anyone with any solution?
Nothing so far, I've tried everything.
Every now and then an enemy appears in full sprint without being heard.It is ridiculous and unnecessary in this game to have a high end headset except to hear the 40 different types of explosions
