Game refund disabled on purpose

I did a refund through the website.  They took out the game from my library and sent me an email saying they couldn't process the refund and to contact my bank.

Took my money now the game.  Of course I contacted support and all they did was gave me a vague "We're sorry, we are having problems, please try again later" response.

That didn't give me any assurance of them wanting to process my refund.  After many attempts to get them to elaborate on what issues they are having that they are refusing to refund me was unsuccessful.

I got frustrated in the end and have no choice but to initiate a charge back through my bank.

I obviously can't try again later since the game was taken out of my library and I even requested for them to put it back ... but the response was ... you guessed it ... "We're sorry, We are having issues, Please try again later and understand."

It's like they want you to go through your bank ... the email clearly says to contact your bank.

oh yeah, not to mention they want you to be civil after they throw NPC scripts at you lol

If they get petty and ban my account.  Then thats fine ... I tried it their way and they are making it difficult, but I'm wrong.

This is really strange.  I have NEVER experienced a technical issue with a refund before.  I got my refund quickly after realizing classes were gender locked.  I hope everyone else who submits a refund request experiences a quick turnaround.

When i used once in the past i didn't have any problem either, it's now for some reason

Just received email that my refunds has been processed and it has been approved

I WAIT FOR 2 HOURS...

Yep.  I put in a refund request on Oct 10th and bought on Steam, and the refund still has not gone through 14 days later.  I contacted EA support and they said that my card declines the refund, and they can offer me a game of equal value.  Wtf is that?  I dont want another game, I want my refund.

just tried to get refund on game, i have no interest in now. they told me i couldnt as i didnt qulify, but couldnt tell me why. looks like i will need to chargeback on card.
