Graphics on 100Hz monitor

Hi Internet

Just received my 5070ti. My monitor is 34” IPS 3440x1440 at just 100Hz.

(CPU i9-9900K, 32GB DDR4 3200, z390 board, NVME SSDs)

I am not ready to buy a new monitor. So how do i get the best graphics keeping in mind that my monitor is limited to 100Hz. Im thinking that it must make sense to max out settings until i hit around 100FPS? But how would you guys do that?

  • You should post the make/model of the monitor.  Does it support G-Sync?  Do you have Nvidia Reflex enabled?  If so, disable the +boost.

    BF6 Settings RTX 5070TI

For optimal performance and visual fidelity in Battlefield 6 on an RTX 5070 Ti at 3440x1440p with a 100 Hz monitor, prioritize settings that leverage your GPU's capabilities while addressing the game's CPU-intensive nature. Use the following recommended configuration:

    **Graphics Settings (Custom):**
    - **Texture Quality:** Ultra (highest VRAM can handle)
    - **Texture Filtering:** Overkill or Ultra
    - **Mesh Quality:** High or Medium
    - **Terrain Quality:** High
    - **Undergrowth Quality:** High
    - **Effects Quality:** Low
    - **Volumetric Quality:** High
    - **Lighting Quality:** High
    - **Local Light & Shadow Quality:** High
    - **Sun Shadow Quality:** High
    - **Shadow Filtering:** PCSS
    - **Reflection Quality:** High
    - **Screen Space Reflections:** Off (recommended to avoid low-resolution dithering)
    - **Post-Processing Quality:** High
    - **Screen Space AO & GI:** GTAO High
    - **High Fidelity Object Amount:** High or Medium

    **Display Settings:**
    - **Fullscreen Mode:** Borderless or Fullscreen
    - **Fullscreen Resolution:** 3440x1440
    - **Aspect Ratio:** Auto
    - **Refresh Rate:** 100 Hz
    - **Vertical Sync:** Off

    **Advanced Settings:**
    - **Fixed Resolution Scale:** 100%
    - **Frame Rate Limiter:** On, set to 100 FPS
    - **Nvidia Reflex:** Enabled + Boost (critical for reducing input latency in CPU-bound scenarios)
    - **Upscaling Technique:** DLSS 4 (Quality or Balanced mode for best visual fidelity with performance gain)
    - **DLSS Quality:** Quality (offers ~13% FPS boost with minimal artifacting)
    - **Nvidia Frame Generation:** On (if available on your RTX 5070 Ti, this significantly increases FPS)
    - **Performance Overlay:** Off

    **Additional Optimization Tips:**
    - Ensure **Hardware Accelerated GPU Scheduling (HAGS)** is enabled in Windows Settings
    - Set Windows Power Plan to **High Performance**
    - Enable **Resizable BAR** in your motherboard BIOS/UEFI
    - Disable **EA Overlay** for better performance utilization
    - Use **NVIDIA Driver 581.42 or later** for optimal stability and DLSS 4 support
    - In the NVIDIA Control Panel, set:
      - **Low Latency Mode:** Ultra
      - **Power Management Mode:** Prefer Maximum Performance
      - **Threaded Optimization:** Off (for BF6 program profile)
      - **Vertical Sync:** Off
      - **Texture Filtering Quality:** High Performance (for minor FPS gain)

These settings balance high visual fidelity with performance, leveraging your RTX 5070 Ti’s capabilities while mitigating the game’s CPU-bound challenges  The combination of DLSS 4, Frame Generation, and optimized driver settings can deliver stable, high frame rates at 3440x1440p

use the nvidia game optimization.  if you get micro stutters like me.  Only thing I had to do was limit my frames.  and set dlss to quality instead of performance.   and set textures from overkill to ultra.   but I only have a 5070 with 12gb of vram which was the issue with the textures causing hitching.    The limiting frames stopped any crashing.  and the dlss to quality stopped any micro stutters.
