Hardcore modes not very hardcore?

I noticed in the hardcore mode of bf6, you still have a minimap, crosshair, and 3d spotting. If it's not that different than 20% more damage, no one is going to play this mode. It should actually feel hardcore. Even if it makes some gadgets like the TUGs less useful. I also think hitmarkers should be removed so you have to rely on audio feedback to make the game look more immersive. If everyone was on an even playing field with these settings, the playlist would have more players.
