Vehicles in Battlefield are supposed to be OP, meant to sow fear and destruction on the battlefield. The problem with this game is that we don't have much effective weaponry to defend against them (destroying a tank with 3-4 anti-tank missiles is not an effective tactic when it only has you in one shot).
There should be a bit more realism here, but I'd expect that from Battlefield, not a Call of Duty knockoff.
