this video on reddit pretty much shows the frustration... hits the guy like 6 times and then dies.
I watched the video; he fired 9 shots; it looks like all of them hit in the chest, maybe one pre-fire didn't, but that would still be 8 rounds. Damage ticked up only 5 times out of the 8-9 shots by 18. If it had only been 6 hits, then it would have dealt 106 damage, enough to secure the kill. If all the bullets had hit the 8-9 range, they should have received 144-162 damage.
Either way, that video is a great example of how terrible the hit registration/netcode is currently.
