How do I unlink an old account?

My original EA account is tied to an @sbcglobal.net email. I lost this password year ago, and the only way to recover it is using your AT&amp;T account, which I've never had. So essentially I need to unlink my Steam account from my old EA account so I can link it to my current account. This seems like an issue that support could solve, but they are elusive.
