Considering that the most popular topic on this forum now is about bans for nothing, we can assume that the problem is widespread. Even if someone got banned for exploits or actually cheated, the vast majority of players notice that they most likely got banned for random things like RGB software or anti-cheat from another game running in pararel. Many people claim that they were unbanned, but only after 2-3 weeks! And without any compensation. My first appeal was auto declined by bot after 5 days and now my second appeal is "waiting for studio" since 29 of october, i already was banned for longer then i played the game and didnt cheat or exploit. It is really frustating becouse there is no way to concact them outside of the EA Help to know if my appeal is worked on, in queque or in some kind of limbo.
I play BF6 on PC with two other games running, I run "Raven II" in the background, and six instances of "Final Fantasy XI", the Anti-Cheat does not flag those other games. Most of the time I'm just AFK while browsing YT or watching movies, with BF6 still running.
what games were you running in the background?
Attempting to guess a specific program is pointless because there are most likely many that are flaged as flase positives. But from other players it can be: any mouse software, rgb software, any kind of overley, Faceit anticheat, hoyoverse anticheat, github etc.
